That's a bit odd isn't it? Good to know though, as I was thinking of going
for the Maxtor 40G drive too. Both of my existing drives are from Maxtor and
have performed flawlessly for the past few years :-)
Have you now been able to configure the very large partitions that you
originally wanted?
